Please
- Replace divots.
- Repair ball-marks (PDF, 32K) on greens.
- Rake and smooth footprints in bunkers.
- Leave rakes in bunkers.
- Do not pass between bunkers and green with your trolley
- In the interest of all, players should play briskly and without delay
Local rules
1. Out of Bounds: defined by fences or white stakes.
1.2. Water Hazards (R-26)
1.2.1. Water Hazards: defined by yellow stakes or yellow plates.
1.2.2. Lateral Water Hazards: defined by red stakes or red plates.
1.3. Ground Under Repair : (G.U.R) Defined by blue stakes or white lines.
1.3.1. Ground under repair defined by blue stakes: relief must be taken under R.25 - 1.b.
1.3.2. Ground under repair defined by white lines. Play optional: relief may be taken R.25 - 1.b.
1.4. Obstructions
1.4.1. Staked trees ; if such a tree interferes with the player’s stance or area of his intended swing, the ball must be lifted, without penalty and dropped in accordance with the procedure prescribed in R.24 – 2.b (i).
1.4.2. All paths on the course are immovable obstructions, whether or not artificially surfaced.
Penalty for breach of local rule 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 : 2 strokes to be added to the score of the hole.
1.5. When play is suspended for lightning, players shall discontinue play (=stop) immediately and shall not thereafter resume play until the committee has ordered a resumption of play.
One prolonged note of siren : stop.
Two short notes of siren : resume.
Penalty for breach of local rule 1.5. : disqualification.
2. Doubt as procedure R.3 - 3.
When during play of a hole a competitor is doubtful of this rights or procedure, and no referee is readily available, play of a second ball in accordance with R.3-3. is encouraged to avoid undue delay.
3. General information.
3.1. Tournament conditions see the club notice board.
3.2. Distance markers:
Stakes = 150m center of the green,
Red disks = 100m entrance of the green,
Yellow disks = 150m entrance of the green,
White disks = 200m entrance of the green.
3.3. Scorecards shall be checked and signed at the recording office in the clubhouse immediately after completion of the round (see R.6 – 6. b).
3.4. See ad valves if any other temporary local rule is in operation.
